INT 2
INT is Minimalen's international competition for short films from across the globe, excluding the Nordic countries. 36 of the world's best new short films have been selected and will be presented across six programs.
The directors will be introduced immediately after the screening, giving the audience an opportunity to ask questions.
The awards ceremony takes place on Saturday evening.
Jury

SVEN SCHWARZ
The Managing Director of Kurzfilm Festival Hamburg since 2010, where he also curates special programmes. Board member of the international Short Film Conference and part of the Hamburg-based collective A Wall Is a Screen, which presents short films in public spaces worldwide.

ANNA LIAN
Screenwriter based in Trondheim, primarily working with feature-length and short fiction. She teaches idea and script development at NTNU and has written short films that have won numerous awards nationally and internationally. Her short film Baby Blues had its world premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival in 2025.

KORNÉL SZILÁGYI
Avant-garde filmmaker working primarily with analogue techniques, best known for his long-standing collaboration with Nándor Hevesi under the names Igor & Ivan Buharov - shown at major international exhibitions and biennials. Szilágyi also directs sound works and documentaries, and is a member of the Berlinale Shorts Selection Committee.

L'MINA
Jerada, a former mining town in Morocco, still relies on informal coal extraction long after the official shutdown in 2001. The film recreates this hidden labor in a staged mine set built with local residents, who appear as themselves.
