Award Ceremony

Awarding of the prizes in the festival's competition programmes. The winners are shown in the performance that comes immediately afterward, with a replay Sunday.

INT: INTERNATIONAL COMPETITION

A film is premiered by the INT prize jury:
Best International Film The Minimalen trophy + 1,000 euros given by Minimalen.

In addition, the audience has voted for their favorite to be awarded:
Audience Award incl. 500 euros provided by Minimalen.

NOR: NORDIC & NORWEGIAN COMPETITION

Five films are premiered by the NOR jury:
Best Nordic Film The Minimalen trophy + 1,000 euros given by the Faculty of Humanities at NTNU.
Best Nordic Fiction*, Documentary*, Animation* and art film* (*except the category to which Best Nordic Film belongs)
Best Norwegian Film The Minimalen trophy + 5,000 kronor given by Minimalen. Two Norwegian films qualify for nomination for the annual Amanda Award in accordance with the Amanda Committee rules.

In addition, Trondheim cinema selects a Norwegian film of approx. 5 min:
Best Norwegian First Film Screened as a prefilm at Trondheim cinema for one month.

The Raskin Spirit Festival Award The trophy is awarded to a compact, poetic short film that exploits its visual and auditory possibilities in an imaginative way and has its own optimal form. Selected from INT or NOR of the festival.

ONE-MINUTE FILM

Audiences have voted best film:
Audience Award Awarded the trophy The Golden Scissors 2.0.

The audience has also voted best film in the category One-Minute Film YOUNG:
Audience Award Awarded the Silver Scissors Diploma and NOK 3,000 given by Midtnorsk Filmsenter.

NORDENFJELDSK STUDENT COMPETITION

A separate jury has chosen best film (awards ceremony Friday):
Best Student Film The winner is awarded a diploma.

MULTIPLIÉ DANCE FILM

A jury selects best film in each of the two competitions:
Best Nordic Multiplié Dance Film Diploma and 1,000 euros granted by DansiT.
Best International Multiplié Dance Film Diploma and 1,000 euros granted by DansiT.
