Nordic Shorts Expo
Meet the shorts of the north
FOR INVITED EXPERTS
Minimalen established Nordic Shorts Expo in 2018, as an arena designed to help festivals and distributors explore upcoming shorts and filmmakers of the Nordic Countries. Simply put, we already have a bunch of glowing hot Nordic films in competition, and the presence of quite a few of the filmmakers.
The Expo initiative offers no-nonsense activities like:
Special screenings – both in the theatre and online
Networking events with food and drinks
Ample room for one-on-one meetings between the filmmakers and the international festivals and distributors
Opportunities to experience the Norwegian winter and untouched nature at its best, in and around the Viking age capital of Norway.
FOR PROFESSIONAL FILMMAKERS
It will be possible to attend most of the events and meet the experts in meetings. Note: You must have obtained a festival pass to participate. Contact our Coordinator at expo@minimalen.com to get more info and start the process of booking meetings.
Hvordan delta på en-til-en møter med internasjonale eksperter
Enten du vil selge inn din film, presentere et nytt filmprosjekt, eller bare bli bedre kjent med internasjonale eksperter – dette er din sjanse! Alle norske og nordiske filmskapere som deltar på Minimalen og har gyldig festivalpass for Minimalen kan delta på Nordic Shorts Expo og booke en-til-en møter. Filmskapere med filmer i markedsvisningsprogrammet vil bli prioritert.
